XP Music Futures, the annual three-day music conference taking place in Riyadh, is back for its fifth edition, laying the building blocks for a thriving music industry and focusing on the foundational elements of the music business through workshops, dialogues, networking opportunities, and vibrant nightlife experiences.
With a mission to broaden the horizons for music professionals of all backgrounds, empowering artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to drive creative innovation in the industry, XP gathers MENA’s most creative minds, connecting music industry leaders from local, regional, and global stages.

XP Music Futures returns this year with an expanded program that highlights collaboration as the key to driving the region’s creative growth. Bringing together leading cultural institutions, global platforms, and industry innovators, XP 2025 focuses on accelerating talent development and building a sustainable music ecosystem for the future.

Among the names announced are Palestinian-Jordanian rising star Zeyne, Egyptian pop artists Norhan, Khaliji music superstar Shamma Hamdan, Emirati-Somali rapper Freek, artist and creator of Lebanese Underground Zeid Hamdan, American-Palestinian artist Lina Makoul, and Moroccan-French rock band Bab L’ Bluz.
Among this year’s most anticipated sessions are “Accelerating Talent: Anghami, Moja, and the Music Commission,” a roundtable discussion exploring how public institutions and private platforms can collaborate to fast-track artist development and empower the next generation of regional talent. This session exemplifies XP’s mission to bridge sectors, inspire innovation, and create real opportunities for creative professionals.
The wider XP program introduces a dynamic lineup of talks, workshops, and collaborative experiences designed to empower artists, expand professional pathways, and spark new cultural conversations. Highlights include “5 Years XChange Riyadh & XP Zine” bringing together key voices from workshops held across Qatar, Bahrain, and Riyadh to reflect on shared insights and regional takeaways, culminating a unified vision at XP.

The 2024 edition welcomed 5,130 attendees across three days, hosted 23 partners, featured 121 daytime sessions, showcased 100 nighttime acts, and brought together 380 speakers from across the global industry. With its continued growth, XP Music Futures returns bigger and bolder than ever, standing as the pulse of the region’s fast-growing nightlife industry, a place where creativity, collaboration, and culture converge to inspire the future of music.
